Packshots of clothes realized in the “ghost” technique on a special mannequin are available in two versions: classic and with shading. The price depends on the number of products and the material they are made of – transparent, satin and glossy fabrics are much more demanding than classic cotton or polyester. All packshots are made with extreme care for details and proper color representation. Apart from classic images of the whole product, we also offer detail pictures.
The packshot photos of clothes, made in the “ghost” technique on a special mannequin, are available in two versions: classic and with shading. The price depends on the number of products and the material the clothes are made of. Transparent, satin and glossy fabrics are much more demanding than classic cotton or polyester.
Our offer also includes packshots of children’s clothes and plus-size clothes, which require special attention due to the size of the fabrics and numerous details.
All packshots are made with great attention to detail and appropriate color representation. In addition to classic shots of the entire product, we also offer photographs of details to further emphasize the texture and shape of clothing.
Packshot photos are considered in the advertising industry as pictures presenting a product in static or moving form. The choice of one of the above mentioned options depends on the number of characteristic elements on the product, as well as its shape, since it can be either a solid or a flat object.
Rotary or static packshot?
Rotary packshots are created by means of a sequence of photos, which appear one after another, giving the impression of an endlessly repeated film presenting exactly the advertised product. However, more and more people choose static packshots, which are a great addition to lookbooks or photos arranged in order to present an object in its purest form. Such commonly called “ghosts” are an inseparable element of online stores, banners, storefronts, and increasingly also in the social media, where contact with the customer is in constant form.
How do we photograph a packshot?
In order to emphasize the qualities of the presented garment, it is photographed against a white background, which allows you to see every pattern and texture, and also ensures proper lighting of the item, without unnecessary shadows and strong contrasts, which could hurt the customer’s perception.
A white background is also beneficial for graphic processing. Thanks to it, it is not difficult to remove white in post-production to obtain digital objects, useful for e-commerce purposes. It is worth noticing that products are properly prepared before being photographed as Packshot. They are ironed, arranged carefully, and any spots, imperfections or other flaws are removed during processing. If necessary, several shots are taken, in various configurations, so that each customer is satisfied. However, no picture is made without first getting to know the aesthetics of the company. Any technical comments in the form of light and settings are consulted just before making the Packshots. We want to do our job as best as possible, so that the photographed object attracts attention, and the form and fabric is rendered with the greatest possible care and precision.
